IMG_1243Andrea is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received her Master’s of Science in Nursing, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While at UAB, Andrea became a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society. She is licensed through the Alabama Board of Nursing and is dual-certified in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, as well as Women’s Health through the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the AANP, as well as the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses.

Andrea received extensive training in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Women’s Health environments, focusing on preventative health maintenance for chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as contraceptive management, STI screening and treatment, and annual exams. As a nurse, Andrea has worked in multiple environments including the Emergency Department at a Level I Trauma Center and Gynecology-Oncology units.

Andrea is originally from St. Louis, but has called Huntsville home for many years. She resides here with her two children and enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities with them.
