Marshall B. Plotka, M.D., M.A.P.P.S.

Dr. Plotka is founder and Chief Medical Officer of Phoenix Emergency Care. Dr. Plotka is a graduate of Indian Springs School in 1972, and earned his BS, MA and Medical Degrees from Duke University in 1976 – 1981. Dr. Plotka was a resident at the University of Utah Hospital from 1981-1982. Dr. Plotka became board Certified in Emergency Medicine in 1989 by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Plotka became a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 1989

 

Kayla Vaden, CRNP

Kayla comes to us from Florence, Alabama where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama.. Kayla worked in the Emergency Room at Eliza Coffee Memorial then at Madison Hospital as an RN and relief Charge Nurse. Kayla then worked on her Master’s at the University of Alabama Huntsville where she graduated with an Masters of Science in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016.  Kayla is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Kayla has been a resident of Huntsville since 2013 and with Phoenix since 2017.

Melissa Albright, CRNP, FNP-C

Melissa is a Huntsville native who started her career as a registered nurse in 2000 after earning her Associates Degree in Nursing from Calhoun Community College. She has worked as an RN in the Emergency Department, PCU and Mother-Baby at Huntsville Hospital and as an RN and charge nurse in the Emergency Department at Madison Hospital. She went back to school and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 and then her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2018 and is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Melissa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has been with Phoenix since 2019 and resides in Madison, AL.
